2015 ‘The Chief’ Chardonnay

Our signature wine, The Chief Chardonnay, is named in honor of Shelby’s father, Ed Platt, the Chief on the TV series “Get Smart.” These grapes from Penner-Hansen Vineyard in Jacksonville are aged in oak barrels for three months and finished in stainless steel. Hints of green apple, pear and citrus fruits. The oak does not overpower the more subtle aspects of this delightful chardonnay. Alcohol: 12.7%

2015 Vermentino

From Troon Vineyards in the Applegate Valley, one of only two vineyards that have Vermentino in Southern Oregon. This German-style wine with 1% residual sugar has a slight sweetness on the front palate that gives way to muted flavors of citrus and pear.
